Terms and conditions
This document defines the relationship between SKY LINE TRAVEL and the travel agency using the panel. By opening an account or using the panel, you accept these terms.

Who we are and what we do
SKY LINE TRAVEL is a flight distribution platform for travel agencies, connected directly to the airline reservation system. We place the reservation in the airline system and issue the electronic ticket.
We are not an airline and we do not carry passengers. Fares, fare rules, refund and change penalties, baggage allowance, the timetable and the carriage itself are set and operated by the operating airline. The contract of carriage is between the passenger and that airline.
- We make the reservation, issue the ticket, and give the agency the tools to manage it.
- The operating airline decides which seat is sold, at what fare and on what conditions.
- Every figure you see in the panel was read from the airline system at that moment.
Who can open an account
The panel is for licensed travel agencies only. Individuals and unlicensed resellers are not accepted.
- At registration you must upload the activity licence, the company registration document and the manager identity document.
- The accuracy and validity of those documents is your responsibility. An expired or incorrect document is sufficient grounds to refuse or suspend an account.
- If your licensing status changes, you must tell us.
Account, users and permissions
Your account may hold several users — a separate login per branch or counter, each with its own permissions and credit ceiling.
- Anything done under your login is treated as done by you. Keeping the password safe and two-factor sign-in enabled is your responsibility.
- You are responsible for the actions of the users and sub-agencies you create.
- Every action in the panel is recorded in the audit log with the user and the exact time.
- Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Credit account and settlement
You hold a credit account with us. Issuing a ticket debits it; an approved refund credits it back.
- Topping up
- Credit becomes spendable once the deposit is approved. Until then the amount cannot be spent.
- Debit on issue
- Taken at the moment of ticketing, not at reservation. Reserving costs nothing.
- Credit limit
- If your account is post-paid, the limit and the settlement period are agreed separately and shown in the panel.
- Statements
- Every movement is recorded against its own booking reference, and a statement for any period can be pulled from the panel.
Tickets can only be issued up to your available balance and credit limit. If credit is short, the reservation is released at the end of its hold and the seat is lost.
Reservation, ticketing and passenger data
A reservation creates a real PNR in the airline system and holds the seat until the hold expires. Until the ticket is issued no money moves, and the reservation is released automatically at the end of the hold.
Enter passenger details exactly. The name must match the travel document precisely. On a system ticket a name change is normally impossible, and correcting a mistake requires void and re-issue with the airline penalty. The cost of a data-entry error is the agency’s.
- Passports, visas, document validity and destination entry requirements are the responsibility of the passenger and their agency, not ours.
- The fare applied at ticketing is the fare at that moment; the fare seen at search time is not guaranteed.
- If the airline refuses or cancels a reservation, we cannot guarantee it.
Date changes and refunds
Date changes and refunds are made from the panel, and the operating airline’s own rules and penalties apply to them.
The penalty scale differs per flight and per fare class and is read live from the airline system. The exact deduction is shown to you before you confirm — no request is submitted without you seeing that figure.
- The penalty is calculated from how long before departure the request is recorded.
- For some fares the airline publishes no refund scale at all; in that case the conditions printed on the ticket govern.
- Refunded amounts are returned to the agency credit account once the airline approves them.
- We do not add any penalty beyond what the airline sets.
Delays and cancellations by the airline
The timetable, delays, time changes, rerouting and cancellations are the airline’s decisions. We pass those changes on to you but have no control over them.
- On a cancellation or delay, passenger rights are those set by aviation regulation and the airline conditions.
- We are not answerable for consequential losses such as a missed onward flight, hotel or tour.
- Claims relating to carriage are pursued with the airline; we will assist with that.
Acceptable use of the panel
- Speculative reservations, bulk holds with no intent to ticket, and any behaviour that locks airline inventory are prohibited.
- Automated extraction of data from the panel is allowed only through the official web service with a valid key.
- Do not hand your access to another person or business; use the sub-agency feature for that.
- Fares and data shown are for your sale to a traveller, not for public redistribution.
Suspension and ending the relationship
Either side may end the relationship. Outstanding financial obligations and already-issued tickets survive its end.
- An account may be suspended immediately on breach of these terms, overdue debt or suspected fraud.
- On suspension, access to existing bookings and statements is preserved so the account can be settled.
Limits of liability
We keep the panel available with reasonable effort, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of the airline system or of the network between us.
- During an airline outage, search and ticketing may be temporarily impossible. The panel says so explicitly rather than showing a stale answer.
- Our liability in any event does not exceed what we received for the reservation concerned.
- Indirect and consequential loss, including loss of profit, is excluded.
Governing law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and disputes are heard by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless agreed otherwise in a separate contract.
We may update this document. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page, and material changes are notified to partner agencies through the panel.
A question about these terms? Write to us from the contact page — you will have an answer before you open an account.
If anything here is unclear, ask before you open an account — we would rather answer it now than argue about it later.
