Staying in Riyadh
Riyadh is the capital of Saudi Arabia and its largest business centre, and its hotels line the main roads that cross the city from north to south. Olaya, around the Kingdom Centre and Al Faisaliah towers, is the traditional choice for business travel, with restaurants and shopping within reach. The King Abdullah Financial District, further north, has newer high-rise hotels, and the districts near the airport road suit short stays. Diriyah, on the north-western edge of the city, is the birthplace of the first Saudi state; its restored mud-brick quarter of At-Turaif is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the area now has hotels and restaurants of its own. Large exhibitions and events can fill the city quickly, so if your trip coincides with one, book early. The most pleasant weather runs from November to March. In our search every rate shows its meal plan and cancellation rule before payment, and free-cancellation rates are marked.

Questions about hotels in Riyadh
Where should I stay in Riyadh on a business trip?
Olaya and the King Abdullah Financial District have the most business hotels and are close to offices and conference venues. For a short stop, hotels near the airport road are a good option too.
Is Diriyah worth staying in?
Yes, if you came for the historic quarter and its new restaurants. Diriyah is a little outside the centre, so allow travel time if your meetings are in Olaya.
When is the best time to visit Riyadh?
From November to March the weather is milder. Summer is very hot and dry, and hotels fill early during major events.
